Give a product photo a cleaner background
Make a product easier to see without changing what you are selling. Start with one photo, one background change and a side-by-side check.

From idea to a useful result
- Upload a copy of a photo you own to an image-editing surface. Use a sharp image with the full product visible.
- Describe the background and light you want. Separately name the details that must remain unchanged.
- Compare the result with the original at full size. If the product changed, reject that version or make the edit in a conventional photo editor.
Try this
Edit this photo of my mug. Replace the cluttered background with a pale neutral wall and a simple tabletop. Keep the mug’s shape, handle, logo, printed text and color unchanged. Use soft daylight and a realistic contact shadow. Do not add props or write new text. Return a square image.
What a useful result looks like
A useful edit leaves the same mug on a quiet background with room for a catalog crop. The handle, lettering and color should match the original exactly. If the logo becomes fuzzy or the handle changes shape, ask to restore those details—or keep the original photo.
Check the result
Zoom into the logo and rim; compare the silhouette and color. An attractive image that changes the product is not a successful catalog edit.
