From idea to a useful result
- Connect the service in the tool’s settings and inspect its supported actions. Work accounts may need an administrator.
- Specify the folder, document title or date range. Ask it to show matching documents before choosing one.
- Open the original source to verify the answer. Draft updates separately from sending or saving them.
Try this
Search only my connected Drive for documents titled “Workshop budget” modified in September 2026. List title, modified date and source link. Do not assume the newest file is approved. Ask me which version to use if approval is unclear. Do not edit, share or send anything.
What a useful result looks like
If the result contains “Workshop budget draft” modified 20 September and “Workshop budget approved” modified 18 September, the useful response lists both and asks which governs the task. A more recent draft does not automatically supersede an approved version. This example describes a result pattern; no actual Drive search was run.
Check the result
Open every cited link. If no connector is available, upload the specific document instead; do not pretend the assistant searched your account.
